These cute little crochet buttons and bows hair clips are a great little craft that can be made in no time at all!
They are perfect for stash-busting, as they use very little yarn and can be made in so many different colors.
You can get creative with fancy buttons and clips, or keep them simple.
As I mentioned, these clips work up very fast. If you need something to fill your craft booth or need a last minute accessory, gift, or little girls’ party favor, these would be perfect!
Buttons and Bows Hair Clips
Supplies:
Size H crochet hook
A small amount of yarn
Small hair clips
Assorted buttons
Glue gun and glue sticks
Little Crochet Bow Pattern:
Ch 5
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook,and in each across. Turn. (4)
Row 2: Ch 1, [sc 2 tog] twice. Turn. (2)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc 2 tog. Turn (1)
Row 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in the first sc. Turn. (2)
Row 5: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc. Turn. (4)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. (4)
Finish off and weave in ends.
Assembly:
Position your bow where you want it on your clip and hot glue it in place.
Hot glue the button to the center of the bow.
Allow to cool/dry completely.
