Now, how could I say no?
This dolly is 10 inches, and the dress is a little big, so it would be perfect for a 12 inch doll.
I intended on just making a dress, but "...ummm... I think she needs a diaper too, mom..."
I had to agree, so I made the diaper. The sun hat was a surprise, though, and my girls loved it!
Mom win!

Thank you for a sweet, easy pattern, and for keeping it FREE! 😁
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Thanks so much for sharing the patterns!
ReplyDeleteI am repeating what's in the brackets and ending up with more DC. Am I supposed to skip a stitch inbetween?
ReplyDeleteHmmm.. I'm not sure what is going on. No stitch skipping is necessary.
DeleteLet's take Round 3: ch 2, [2 dc, dc 2 in next st] repeat around. Join. (52)
So, you will chain 2, then for the round (in the brackets), you will do 2 dc (dc in the next stitch, then dc in the next stitch), dc 2 in next st (then make 2 dc in the next st).
I hope that clarifies it for you. :)
Love this dress. I finally found a pattern for a dress that will work for my daughter's doll. In the pattern, the top of the dress is in dc and the bottom of the dress is in sc. The picture looks like it's all dc (except for the waist band). May you clarify please?
ReplyDeleteLooks like I made a typo. Sorry!!! And thank you so much for pointing it out. I will get that fixed. :)
